Police HomeCare Services has opened for business, offering disability home care, in-home aged care services, and on-site wellness services.
General Manager Wayne Boden says Police HomeCare Services is now on the My Aged Care portal – and there is some excellent news for aged care clients.
“Police HomeCare Services is leading the way on transparency, dignity and integrity in home care,” Mr Boden says.
“It had been our intention to charge clients no management fees at all, however it is a legislative requirement that we charge a Care Management Fee.
“So we are setting our Care Management Fee at 7.5%, which is well below most other providers.
“Police HomeCare’s competitive pricing model will be more affordable than most other providers.
“On average, people choosing Police HomeCare Services will receive additional hours of care per fortnight.
“This will ensure that our clients can receive more care, more often.”
Our support workers can help with personal care, home and garden maintenance, shopping, meal preparation and taking clients to social activities.
They also offer support to learn new skills and have expertise in providing complex care and behavioural support.
Wellness services focus on activities that support balance, cardio-vascular health, intrinsic strengthening, rib mobility, ankle mobility, healthy feet, and hip rehabilitation.
“When someone starts a Home Care Package or NDIS Plan, they have a choice about who comes into their home to support them,” Mr Boden says.
With backing from the Police Association of South Australia and the experienced Lifestyle Plus Group, Police HomeCare Services is a trusted provider that treats quality in-home care as an essential service.
“The team at Police HomeCare Services knows that everyone has different needs and interests and works with clients to personalise their services,” Mr Boden says.
“Working with clients, their family and friends, we ensure that clients’ needs, interests and aspirations are at the core of their home care services.
“We respect our clients’ choices and preferences and provide care that supports and empowers them.”
