Police
Home care for everyone, because your independence is worth protecting.
At Police HomeCare, we believe your home care is only as good as your carer. That’s why we ensure that each of our carers understand your individual needs, and work to provide all the support you deserve.
We know that home is where the heart is, and want you to be able to live life on your own terms. Our priority is to make sure you stay happy, healthy and independent within the comfort of your own community.
From daily tasks to specialised support, your needs will be taken care of by someone who will listen, acknowledge and respond to your requests. We look forward to meeting you.
We help maintain your home and your health, so you can maintain your independence.
Living independently doesn’t mean doing everything on your own, but on your own terms. And sometimes that requires a little help, especially at home. With over 30 years’ experience, service is in our nature – so we’ll help you maintain your health and your home, while you maintain your independence

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about our services.
Are Police HomeCare’s services exclusive to members of the police community?
The good news is that Police HomeCare’s services are available to all NDIS and My Aged Care participants. You do not need to be affiliated with the police to have our highly qualified staff support your living needs. That being said, we’re indeed proud to take care of (and employ!) some members of the police community and their families.
Which areas do you operate in?
We provide support across Adelaide – including outer suburbs, both northern and southern. If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, just reach out! We’re happy to chat and help you find the right support nearby.
What distinguishes you from other care providers?
Being an active partnership with the Police Association of South Australia means that we are bound to the very high standards expected of the police family. Caring for those who care for our community means a lot to us, and we will go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met.
What happens if I don’t have a support plan?
In many cases, we can support your application process and guide you along the way, regardless of which care provider you ultimately end up choosing. At the very least, we can determine your eligibility and explain your entitlements to government funding and support. Please get in touch with our friendly staff by calling 8155 5222 or use the contact form on this website, and we’ll be happy to answer your questions.
Can I change or cancel a service if it’s not working for me?
Yes, you can. Choice and control are what My Aged Care and the NDIS are all about, so you’re in charge of choosing the providers that best suit you to help reach your goals.
How to change your care provider:
- Have a look at your service agreement for the notice period or cancellation terms.
- Discuss with your provider (if you feel comfortable) about the reasons why you’re cancelling the service.
- Reach out to your Care Partner, Support Coordinator or Plan Manager for help with the changeover.
- Contact us if you have any questions or need any help whatsoever. You don’t need to stick with a provider who isn’t a good fit. We’re here to make a change-over simple and stress-free, and to provide the support you require.
