Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be connected to the police to receive care?

Not at all. Police HomeCare is open to everyone. We support all My Aged Care and NDIS participants across Adelaide. Our police heritage simply reflects the standards and values we hold ourselves to.

How much is your care management fee?

Our care management fee is 10%. That means more of your Support at Home budget goes directly towards the care and support you actually receive.

How do I get started with Support at Home?

You'll need an assessment from the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and a referral code from My Aged Care. If that sounds daunting, don't worry. We'll guide you through every step and help you navigate the paperwork.

Am I eligible for NDIS support with Police HomeCare?

As a registered NDIS provider, we can support anyone with an NDIS plan. Generally, participants are under 65, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and have a permanent disability that significantly impacts daily living. Get in touch and we'll help you check.

How quickly can support start?

We aim to respond to every enquiry and referral within one business day, and we'll work with you to begin support as soon as your plan and preferences are in place.
